Euro Shams
Authentic Euro Shams 1900 - 1940
Our Shams are either Linen, Cotton, or a blend of Cotton & Linen. They all come from Europe and have been cleaned in a long gentle process. Most of them are 30 X 30 inches, larger than the “American” Euro, which usually measures 26 inches. It is sometimes difficult for people to find fills that fit the big Euro, but we always have feather/down fills available on our eBay Store, at any of the shows we do, or you can come pick some up at our store and showroom Patine located in La Selva Beach.
Below is our cleaning process

We fill a plastic barrel with HOT water and oxi-clean.
We add the shams one by one till the barrel is full which is approximately 50 shams.
We cover them with bubble wrap for insulation and let it soak overnight.
We re-fill the barrel with Hot water and Biz.
We add the shams, cover them with Bubble wrap to insulate the heat.
In the morning we turn each sham inside out and clean out all the residual lint.
Then we run them through a sanitary cycle in a front load washer.
We line dry them in our warehouse.
We iron them with a Rowenta steam generator.
Done.
We run them through a second Sanitary cycle.
Then we cover the whole barrel with a thick foam insulator. We let it soak for three days!
